The closet city

Context : School of Condé Paris

Subject : “Surprising Cities”

Interpretation : Within saturated urban planning, the appearance of ultra-optimized housing is increasing. They are called micro-habitats.

It is a question of minimizing space, shapes, materials, furniture... to return to minimalist or even essentialist cells and to get rid of materiality.

Thus, the human body is placed at the heart of the home.

This is what I wanted to represent: a compact city in which housing accumulates like a sort of tetris on a human scale.

The goal is to show a lack of oxygen and space.
